Description
Pierce County intends to purchase three PYRO Evo counters and a Professional Package that includes one year of service from Eco-Counter through a special facility procurement exemption. The estimated total cost is $15,000 over the exemption’s 24-month term. The County states that the equipment must match its existing counters and requires vendors to be authorized by the manufacturer to sell PYRO Evo counters in Pierce County. Interested entities may submit a capability statement explaining how they meet the County’s need and minimum requirement. It must identify the submitting individual or organization and a primary contact’s name, email address, and phone number. It must directly address the minimum requirement; alternative products or services must demonstrate matching specifications and compatibility. Submit through OpenGov in .docx, .pdf, or another standard file type readable in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat. This is a procurement-exemption notice, not a competitive bid; if a capability statement demonstrates that another entity can meet the need, the County may cancel the notice and proceed with a competitive procurement.
