Description
King County seeks C.E. Niehoff alternators, voltage regulators, and internal repair parts for transit coaches. Alternators must be air-cooled and brushless, designed for transit-coach use, and capable of withstanding prolonged heat and heavy-duty operation. Products must meet or exceed the original equipment manufacturer’s specifications and applicable industry and safety standards. The bidding schedule lists five line items, including alternators, regulators, and a bearing. Partial bids are allowed, rebuilt parts may be considered, and pricing may be adjusted annually through an approval process during the five-year contract term. The clarification states that no installation, repair, or emergency support is required; direct shipment from an authorized distributor is acceptable.
