Description
The City of Rialto is soliciting bids for a new mobile stage trailer with a ball hitch for events and performances. The unit must include a hydraulically operated canopy and folding stage deck, push-button or remote-controlled hydraulic operation, automatic leveling, weather- and vandal-resistant construction, a non-skid weather-resistant stage floor, unobstructed sightlines, removable ADA-compliant stairs, DOT-compliant over-the-road equipment, and a trailer housing made from fiberglass or equivalent specified materials. The specifications include a stage size of 24 by 20 feet minimum to 32 by 24 feet maximum, a maximum weight range of 15,000 to 20,000 pounds, a roof lift capacity of 3,000 to 5,000 pounds, heavy-duty triple-axle suspension, hydraulic stabilizers, generators, electrical systems, storage compartments, wireless remote control, and related safety and operating features. Bidders must provide drawings and dimensions, a sealed professional engineer's letter certifying deck and wind-load capability, documentation that the unit meets applicable safety and regulatory requirements, operation manuals, warranty information, and on-site training after delivery. The bid documents also require completion of the City's bid forms and certifications, including non-discrimination, non-collusion, conflict disclosure, and debarment and suspension certifications.
