Description
The Tomah VA Medical Center, Patient Care Services Dept/Dementia unit, is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing Guldmann brand name only patient ceiling lift slings. The slings are intended for long-term care residents requiring ceiling lift assistance for transfers, ambulation, exercise, and repositioning. Required sling types include basic low/high, active trainer, gait trainer bariatric, custom amputee, sit-on comfort, repositioning, multi-support, leg sling, and extension straps. Key characteristics include weight capacity of at least 550 lbs for sizes M-XXL and 1000 lbs for XXL, materials such as net polyester, polyester, or spacer polyester, expected lifetime of 3-10 years, one-year warranty, passive RFID tags, and collapsible loop attachments. No installation services are needed, but vendor-provided training on sling use is required. This is a sources sought notice only, not a solicitation.
