Fiber Optic Cable and Installation for Paging System Upgrade

Description
This opportunity involves the provision, installation, and testing of dedicated, independent underground fiber optic connections to Buildings 4 and 12, and a fiber connection from the C-Wing Core (Room C-125) to the Penthouse. The installation requires a 6-strand indoor/outdoor armored plenum single-mode (OS2) fiber optic cable for Buildings 4 and 12, and an 18 or 24-strand indoor armored plenum single-mode (OS2) fiber optic cable for the connection to the Penthouse. The scope includes 1U fiber drawers, LC terminations, project management, and proper labeling of patch panels. The work will be performed at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital and campus, with installation scheduled after hours or on weekends to minimize disruption to patient care and hospital operations. The period of performance is 60 days after receipt of order.
