Description
UNLV is seeking bids for an exclusive provider of bottled and canned non-alcoholic beverages for resale to the public at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion. Requested products include bottled water, flavored water, sports drinks, carbonated beverages, juice-based beverages, and carbon dioxide cylinders and bulk CO2. Bidders must propose product pricing, an annual exclusive-rights fee, and any volume discounts. The selected contractor must supply, service, and maintain coolers and other equipment needed to promote beverage sales, including concession-stand coolers and equipment for special events. The solicitation anticipates a five-year potential contract term, with a two-year base period, a two-year option, and a final one-year option; no purchase quantities or event volumes are guaranteed. Bids are evaluated based on responsiveness, responsibility, and price, among other stated considerations. The bid package also requires two current client references demonstrating supply volumes at least as large as those specified in the scope.
