Description
Lafayette County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide professional engineering services for the SW County Road 300 Flood Risk Reduction Project. The scope may include preliminary engineering, surveying and testing, engineering design, cost estimating, permitting, bidding assistance, construction administration, and resident observation. The project is supported by a Hazard Mitigation Grant administered through the Florida Division of Emergency Management, with an identified grant amount of $201,529.65 for design, permitting, surveys, and notices of improvements. Selection will be conducted on a qualifications-based basis under Florida's Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act; respondents must not submit pricing, fee schedules, or cost information. Submittals are limited to 75 pages and must address the firm's qualifications, technical approach, assigned personnel, relevant municipal and Hazard Mitigation Grant Program experience, management and staffing, local familiarity, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Required certifications and affidavits include equal opportunity, debarment and suspension, lobbying, non-segregated facilities, public entity crimes, drug-free workplace, anti-collusion, anti-kickback, and related program clauses. A certificate of insurability is required, including general liability, business auto liability, workers' compensation, and professional liability coverage.
