Description
The City of Victorville is seeking qualified civil engineering consulting firms to prepare a Project Initiation Document (PID), in the form of a Project Study Report-Project Development Support (PSR-PDS), for the proposed extension of Eucalyptus Street across the Oro Grande Wash. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of creating an additional east-west transportation corridor to the Golden Triangle area, improve connectivity, and support future development. The selected consultant will be responsible for all necessary technical studies, analyses, coordination, and documentation, adhering to California Department of Transportation procedures. The scope includes evaluating alternatives, traffic operations, environmental considerations, hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnical assessments, right-of-way impacts, utility coordination, cost estimates, and funding strategies. The City has allocated approximately $500,000 for this project.
