Description
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Yuma Proving Ground is conducting market research for Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and mask preventive maintenance services. This RFI seeks to identify contractors capable of performing annual inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on approximately 60 SCBA assemblies and 45 masks. Services must adhere to manufacturer recommendations (MSA) and relevant standards including OSHA and NFPA. Technicians must possess current MSA CARE Comprehensive Training and Facility certifications. The work involves visual inspections, leakage tests, pressure tests, and minor repairs such as replacing o-rings and rubber components. All testing and repair results must be documented and submitted to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The anticipated period of performance spans five years, from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2031, with a base year and four option years. This service is critical for ensuring the health, safety, and operational readiness of the Yuma Proving Ground Fire Department.
