Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking a contractor to supply and deliver four dairy products to FCI Danbury: pasteurized whole milk in half-pint containers; pasteurized whole milk in five-gallon containers for a milk dispenser; low-fat, fat-free, or no-salt-added cottage cheese in five-pound containers; and reduced-fat, low-fat, or nonfat sour cream in five-pound containers. Products must comply with the specified Commercial Item Descriptions and applicable standards, including the required remaining shelf life for cottage cheese. Bidders must identify the applicable sour cream type and package size. The requirement covers 15,400 half-pint milk containers, 8,400 five-gallon milk containers, 90 containers of cottage cheese, and 90 containers of sour cream. Deliveries are required weekly from October 1 through December 31, 2026, between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, excluding federal holidays. Deliveries must be palletized, properly marked, and maintained at the required temperatures; products that fail inspection or specifications may be refused. The procurement is a 100% small-business set-aside, with one intended award evaluated on price and go/no-go past-performance criteria covering delivery timeliness and order accuracy/completeness.
