Description
The City of Tell City is soliciting letters of interest from qualified engineering firms to provide construction engineering services for federal-aid streetscape improvements on Tell Street from Main Street to 12th Street. The project includes construction engineering and may involve project management, topographical surveying, title searches, roadway design, bridge design, right-of-way plan development, appraisal, appraisal review, environmental document preparation, and construction inspection, subject to the firm's required prequalification categories. The Letter of Interest must address firm qualifications, key staff and project manager experience, proposed subconsultants and DBE participation, staff capacity, project approach, site-visit confirmation, technical understanding, cost-containment practices, and innovative ideas. The Letter of Interest is limited to 12 pages. The estimated construction amount is $1,519,081, with 80/20 funding. The contract term is until the project is complete. The DBE goal is 0%; an Affirmative Action Certification is required only when the advertised DBE goal is greater than 0%.
