Description
The City of Henderson is soliciting professional planning, engineering, and public engagement services for a Safe Streets and Roads for All supplemental planning study. The selected consultant will develop an ADA Transition Plan; conduct a citywide pedestrian safety study using crash data, roadway and accessibility analysis; perform road safety audits at prioritized high-crash locations; and identify and prioritize future transportation safety improvement projects. The scope also includes stakeholder coordination, public meetings and community outreach, planning documents, engineering studies, conceptual improvement alternatives, planning-level cost estimates, mapping and LIDAR acquisition, surveying as needed, utility-location research, environmental services, and materials supporting project development. The approximate lump-sum fee is $680,000. Respondents must provide specified KYTC prequalifications by the response due date, except for certain specialized services that may be obtained later or performed by a prequalified subconsultant. The project schedule calls for recommendations by February 1, 2028.
