Description
Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is requesting proposals for comprehensive snow removal and salting services for its Indianapolis locations, including the Downtown Campus buildings, Public Safety Building, Automotive Technology Center, and a separately priced limited scope at the Fairbanks Center. Services include plowing parking lots, streets, and drive areas; clearing sidewalks, walkways, entrances, emergency exits, and dock areas; applying approved fast-acting, environmentally friendly deicing materials; and performing authorized partial cleanups, callbacks, and time-and-materials work. The College requests per-event pricing by snow accumulation, full-salting pricing, time-and-materials rates, a one-time seasonal price, and seasonal pricing stages for increased snowfall. Contractors must provide adequate staffing, equipment, materials, prior experience, an on-site supervisor during operations, marked vehicles, trained personnel, and timely service, generally completing work before 7:00 a.m. after qualifying snowfall. The selected contractor must be responsible for damage caused by operations, comply with applicable safety and legal requirements, and provide required insurance documentation before award. Proposals must include one complete PDF and responses to all required Workday Strategic Sourcing questionnaires.
