Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting quotations for 21 sheets of corrosion-resistant steel, alloy 301, cold rolled and solution heat treated, conforming to SAE AMS 5518. Each sheet is specified as 0.050 inches thick by 36 inches wide by 120 inches long, with an approximate weight of 63 pounds per sheet. The requirement is divided among three delivery locations: 3 sheets to Hill Air Force Base, Utah; 7 sheets to Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma; and 11 sheets to Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The material must comply with applicable DLA packaging, inspection, quality, marking, and domestic-material requirements. A Certificate of Quality Compliance or mill-material certification is required with each shipment. Suppliers must comply with the Qualified Suppliers List for Distributors requirement for Federal Supply Group 95 and 96, and the solicitation states that only approved QSLD suppliers are eligible for award unless a deviation is identified. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
