Description
Ocean County is seeking a provider to deliver employment and training services for residents age 55 and older who are retired or laid off after lengthy employment and need sustainable work. Required activities may include soft- and hard-skills training, on-the-job training or work experience, résumé assistance, mock interviews, interview skills, technology assistance, socialization, and credentials or certifications. The program must include eligibility screening and comprehensive intake, individualized service-delivery plans, referrals and linkages to supportive services, participant and performance tracking, quality assurance, satisfaction feedback, and reporting. The provider must engage referred participants, serve at least 35 Ocean County residents, maintain appropriate accreditation for curriculum-based training, participate in workforce-development meetings, and provide program and fiscal records. The contract is expected to run from December 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with up to two additional 12-month periods. The anticipated funding is $100,000, contingent on fund availability, and services must be provided at no out-of-pocket cost to participants.
