Description
The Correctional Service of Canada intends to award a one-year contract, with one additional one-year option, for in-person reintegration and employment support services for Indigenous offenders in Manitoba. Services include release planning, Elder support, cultural teachings, counselling, case management, housing and healthy-relationship support, hard and soft employability skills, classroom and jobsite training, job mentorship, trainee-pool placement, and culturally appropriate daily jobsite check-ins. The work also includes visits to correctional institutions and healing lodges, sweat-lodge offerings, and support for offenders transitioning from incarceration to employment. The contractor must prepare monthly reports in Microsoft Word or Excel by the 15th of the following month and annual reports by April 15. Interested suppliers must submit a statement of capabilities demonstrating at least three years of relevant experience within the preceding five years in Manitoba. The procurement is set aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business, and personnel requiring access to sensitive sites must hold Reliability Status; the contractor must maintain a valid Designated Organization Screening. The estimated value of the initial contract period is $209,998.95, with an unfunded option period.
