Description
The City of Jeffersonville is soliciting proposals from tree service contractors to remove invasive tree species (Bradford Pear and Tree of Heaven) from two city parks: Allison Brook Park and Chapel Lake Disc Golf Course. The work includes cutting trees into transportable sections, grinding stumps 8 inches below ground level, removing debris, and restoring the sites. The contractor must provide all necessary traffic control, labor, materials, and equipment, and must complete the work before the end of the 2026 calendar year. Proposals must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. on September 10, 2026, and will be evaluated based on price and other factors. The successful contractor must meet specified insurance requirements including general liability, automobile liability, and worker's compensation.
