Description
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is soliciting bids for sand pine regeneration removal services across approximately 797 acres at Telogia Creek Wildlife Management Area. The work includes complete removal of sand pine trees within designated target areas while preserving other pine species and sensitive natural resources. Hand pulling is the primary removal method for trees under one-half inch in stem diameter; brush saws and chainsaws may be used for larger trees. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, fuel, mobilization, transportation, permitting, and debris removal. The project is priced per acre across light, moderate, and heavy sand pine presence categories, with initial-term and two renewal-year prices required. The contract is effective for one year upon purchase-order issuance, with renewal options for up to two additional one-year periods. Work must be completed and invoiced by June 15, 2027. A mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit is required, and bidders must submit the completed acknowledgment form, price sheet, references form, mandatory responsive requirements form, and subcontractor list. At least three verifiable references for similar completed projects are required. Subcontracting is permitted only with prior written consent.
