Description
The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is soliciting bids for a three-year contract to supply runway deicing materials for airport operations. Required products include potassium acetate runway deicing fluid and sodium acetate/sodium formate runway deicing solids in specified bag, bulk, and supersack quantities. Products must meet stated performance, composition, temperature, corrosion-inhibitor, FAA, and SAE requirements. The contractor must provide delivery, packaging, product labeling, quarterly purchase-history reporting, customer-account support, and replacement of defective products. Orders will be placed as needed, with estimated quantities used for evaluation but not guaranteed. Bidders must submit pricing, product safety data sheets, manufacturer authorization letters, customer references for at least four similar contracts, required business and SBE forms, and insurance-related forms. The solicitation permits alternate products unless otherwise restricted and may result in one or multiple awards.
