Description
West Virginia University is seeking one or more qualified security systems integrators for an open-ended, non-exclusive agreement covering as-needed equipment and services. The scope includes access-control and security-system installation and integration, video-surveillance equipment and installation, low-voltage security cabling, equipment, software and licensing, programming and configuration, service and emergency calls, system upgrades, project management, site surveys, drawings, documentation, testing, commissioning, equipment-only sales, and integration with existing systems. Network/data cabling is excluded. The proposal must address three representative scenarios: equipment and installation for Building A, a Building C service call, and a Building E service call. Proposers must provide detailed technical and experience information, manufacturer-partner status, service response times, multi-campus support, project-management processes, subcontractor information, and at least three comparable projects or contracts completed within the past five years, with references. The proposal must also include the completed pricing spreadsheet, and installation providers must submit a West Virginia contractor's license, Morgantown contractor permit, certificate of insurance, and Purchasing Affidavit. The agreement is anticipated to have a five-year term, with pricing and labor-rate escalations addressed in the pricing response.
