Description
The City of Garland is soliciting sealed bids for the 2025 Alley and Wastewater Improvements Group 1 project. Work includes reconstruction of nine alleys, concrete pavement, sidewalks, driveways, drainage and erosion-control features, fencing, retaining walls, traffic control, and related site work. The project also includes sanitary wastewater improvements such as PVC or HDPE wastewater pipe, services and cleanouts, manholes, temporary wastewater bypasses, trench safety, excavation, backfill, testing, and associated utility work. The anticipated project start is late February or early March 2027, with an estimated construction duration of 180 working days. A 5% bid bond must be uploaded with the bid response; performance, payment, and maintenance bonds are required upon award. Bids must be submitted through the designated online procurement portal, and questions must be submitted through its question-and-answer segment; emailed, faxed, and telephone bids or questions are not accepted.
