Description
The City of Enid is soliciting bids for construction of a waterline replacement project at South University Avenue and East Maine Avenue. The work includes mobilization, staking and as-built documentation, traffic control, construction signage, steel casing, PVC waterline materials and installation, ductile iron fittings, gate valves, fire hydrant assembly, service connections, tie-ins to the existing waterline, pressure testing, disinfection, backfill, concrete and sidewalk repairs, sod restoration, and related incidental work. The contractor must provide a 5% bid bond and, upon award, 100% performance, statutory, and maintenance bonds. The contractor is also responsible for required insurance, permits, testing, erosion controls, traffic control, utility coordination, restoration of disturbed property, and maintaining access to businesses and residences. The maintenance period is three years after project acceptance.
