Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency Pacific is soliciting a contractor to develop and build a virtual reality training system for a Turbine Marine Inc. compact-series portable gas turbine generator, Model 450-480VAC, using commercial off-the-shelf technology. The system must provide user-driven instructional animations, a three-dimensional generator and auxiliary-fuel-tank environment, operator-focused setup, safety, startup, operating, and shutdown procedures, real-time misstep detection, interactive controls and indicators, pass/fail scoring, anomaly and troubleshooting scenarios, and shared sessions for four to five simultaneous users. The solution must support Controlled Unclassified Information protections, applicable Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 requirements, configuration management, Learning Management System integration capability as specified, and government-approved security and equipment requirements. The contractor must provide five TAA-compliant HTC Vive Focus Vision or equal headsets with locally managed administrator and user accounts, accessories, manuals, setup assistance, and maintenance. The base period includes development and delivery of the VR system, hardware, and required travel. Option work includes a FedRAMP- and DoD-authorized government cloud solution, networking, a collaborative training workshop, annual hardware and software maintenance, and networking support. The contractor is responsible for procuring and provisioning the government cloud solution and obtaining its cloud-instance Authority to Operate. Amendment 0002 updates the questions-and-answers worksheet and CLIN pricing worksheet, adds Appendix III contractor security requirements for sensitive facility areas, and requires acknowledgment of all amendments with the quote.
