Description
The requirement covers three phases for an indoor firing range: complete modernization and replacement of the six-unit ventilation and air-conditioning system, total ductwork replacement, structural roof reinforcement, equipment removal and disposal, startup, commissioning, and certified testing, adjusting, and balancing; installation and commissioning of a 12-lane wireless target retrieval system; and recurring quarterly preventive maintenance and inspection services for the ventilation, ductwork, target retrieval, lighting, public-address, and bullet-trap systems. The target system must include wireless self-propelled carriers, individual lane and master controls, programmable movement, 360-degree target rotation, integrated lighting, charging capability, and ballistic protection for cables and components. The solicitation requires a firm-fixed-price quotation covering the applicable base and option line items. The maintenance requirement includes a 12-month base year and four 12-month option years. Quotations are evaluated on price, past performance, and technical capability. The contractor must provide all personnel, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, installation, testing, commissioning, and related services; telework is not authorized. A total small-business set-aside applies under NAICS 333310.
