Description
Des Moines Public Schools seeks proposals for a comprehensive Advanced Placement U.S. History curriculum and related services for an estimated 500 students and six teachers. The curriculum must align with the current College Board AP U.S. History Course and Exam Description and include a digital platform, complete course materials, teacher guides and pacing resources, primary- and secondary-source materials, AP exam practice, and formative and summative assessments. The District anticipates an implementation budget of $50,000. The selected vendor is expected to provide initial professional learning and implementation support, ongoing instructional and technical assistance, and curriculum updates reflecting changes to College Board requirements. Proposals are limited to 30 pages, excluding the required Proposal Response Cover Page, and must address the specified scope, organizational information, experience and financials, termination and litigation history, references, competencies and approaches, and pricing. The contract is for one year, with up to four additional one-year renewals at the District’s discretion.
