The 22nd Judicial District Victim Assistance and Law Enforcement Board is offering approximately $100,000 in local grant funds for projects operating from January 1 through December 31, 2027. Eligible applicants may be persons or agencies providing or coordinating victim and witness assistance services, direct services to crime victims, or qualifying law enforcement programs serving people residing or victimized in Montezuma and Dolores Counties. Funds may not be used for routine and ongoing operating expenses. Applications will be evaluated based on statutory eligibility, direct victim services, demonstrated need and effectiveness, avoidance of duplicated services, fiscal management, community support, and the applicant's ability to comply with program and financial requirements. One original paper copy of the completed application package with original signatures must be delivered or mailed by 4:00 p.m. on September 15, 2026.
