Description
The City of Thomasville is soliciting proposals for landscape maintenance services at 14 city properties, including an airport, municipal offices, utility facilities, a police gun range, a park, vacant lots, and other public sites. The scope includes recurring mowing, edging, trimming, shrub and tree pruning, fertilization, weed, insect and disease control, irrigation monitoring, trash and debris removal, leaf collection, plant-material disposal, and related site cleanup. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, and materials, including pine-straw mulching and associated bed-line work. The initial service term is one year beginning January 1, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals. Proposals must include itemized pricing, qualifications and experience information, references, required affidavits and vendor forms, evidence of insurability and bondability, and a bid bond or certified cashier's check equal to 5% of the base bid. The issued addendum revises the proposal deadline to November 9, 2026, at 11:30 AM EST and requires the signed addendum acknowledgment to be returned with the proposal.
