Description
The City of Stockton is requesting proposals from qualified insurance brokers to provide comprehensive employee benefits consulting services. The scope includes managing insurance vendor relationships, negotiating premium rates, designing benefit plans, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, conducting actuarial services, and performing editorial and compliance reviews of open enrollment materials. The selected consultant will also assist with creating enrollment materials on behalf of the City. The current contract is ending after five years, and the City intends to award an initial three-year contract with two optional one-year renewals, not to exceed five years. The annual premium for medical/dental/vision is approximately $25 million, and for life and disability is $1 million. The current consultant's annual compensation is $150,000.
