Description
The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District is soliciting proposals from qualified FAA Part 145 Repair Stations to provide maintenance, inspections, repairs, overhauls, alterations, and modifications for four District-owned Bell UH-1H helicopters. The contractor must provide two full-time FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant lead maintenance technicians, all required labor, tools, equipment, vehicle support, maintenance records, inspection checklists, quality assurance, foreign-object-damage control, parts inventory management, and related support. The contractor must also meet specified experience, licensing, safety, background-check, drug-testing, and workforce requirements. Services will primarily be performed at Metro Fire Station 115, with off-site support possible when directed by the District. Proposals will be evaluated on company experience and qualifications, staffing, methodology and approach, and fee proposal. The contract is for three years, with up to two additional 12-month extensions.
