Description
The U.S. Navy is seeking a contractor to provide the facility, labor, materials, parts, tooling, and equipment necessary to overhaul, upgrade, repair, test, inspect, and return seven turbine cooling units to Ready-for-Issue condition. The requirement covers component repair and replacement, reassembly, testing, inspection, repair procedures, and compliance with applicable drawings, manuals, and specifications for the identified turbine cooling item, NSN 1660-01-317-7807. The contractor must perform the work at the repair facility identified in its proposal, maintain appropriate quality, calibration, configuration-management, storage, purchased-material, and inspection systems, and prepare repair, test, inspection, and quality-control documentation for Government review. The contractor is responsible for necessary parts and materials unless specifically designated as Government Furnished Material; repairs, upgrades, and any changes to the repair source or facility require applicable Government approval.
