Description
Auburn University is soliciting sealed proposals from pre-qualified bidders for the Parker Hall Demolition project, including hazardous material abatement and demolition of approximately 90,000 square feet of building space. The work also includes demolition of retaining walls, pavement, trees and vegetation, and existing underground storm, sanitary, water, mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications utilities. The project further includes mass grading and excavation; installation of new storm and electrical underground utilities; new pavement and retaining walls; and landscape and irrigation improvements. Bids must use proposal forms furnished by the Architect. A bid bond or certified check of at least 5% of the bid amount, capped at $10,000, is required; performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds will be required at contract signing. Prequalification is required under the Code of Alabama.
