Description
The Alabama Department of Human Resources is soliciting a contractor to provide janitorial services for its Lee County office. The scope includes cleaning each business day, with a required daily schedule beginning at 3:00 p.m. Central Time and ending before midnight, or beginning at 5:00 p.m. otherwise. The contractor must provide sufficient staffing and at least 12 total labor hours per night for monthly services, and must use sign-in sheets and service checklists. The contract includes twelve monthly cleaning cycles and two quarterly cleaning services with floor waxing in applicable non-carpeted areas. Luxury vinyl tile, vinyl composite tile, and ceramic tile must instead be vacuumed, cleaned, and sanitized. Bidders must attend the mandatory site visit and submit proof of liability insurance, a completed and signed itemized cost document, and three references for comparable facilities with equal or greater square footage.
