Description
Columbus Consolidated Government is soliciting bids from primary and secondary contractors to provide protective fire clothing and accessories for firefighters in the Columbus Fire & EMS Department. Items will be purchased on an as-needed basis and must protect against extreme temperatures, sharp objects, steam and water penetration, hot particles, and other hazards encountered during structural firefighting. The contract term is two years, with options to renew for three additional twelve-month periods. Electronic bidding is available, there is no pre-bid conference, and no bid bond is required.
