Description
Macomb Township seeks a qualified contractor to replace swimming pool valves, valve seals, valve stems, actuators, pipe, link seals, and hydraulic cement in the Aquatic Center mechanical room. The work includes removing and disposing of existing materials; installing two 12-inch valve, stem, and actuator assemblies for the activity pool; installing one 8-inch valve, stem, and actuator assembly for the feature pool; installing five link seals on both the surge-pit and equipment-pit sides; and furnishing associated pipe and materials. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, delivery, installation, cleanup, training, and warranties. Work must be coordinated with the Aquatics Director, performed Monday through Saturday between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., and completed on consecutive business days at an agreed-upon time. Proposers must submit pricing, qualifications and work approach, manufacturer product data, references, a contractor questionnaire, required forms, and bid security when applicable. The solicitation requires a two-year contractor warranty and permits subcontractors with prior written Township consent.
