Description

Clinton-Macomb Public Library is requesting proposals for Category 2 network equipment and related services for three library locations. The requested solution includes 39 switches with necessary software and licenses, 45 wireless access points with necessary software and licenses, basic maintenance for 39 switches, and basic maintenance for 45 wireless access points. Meraki or equivalent equipment may be proposed; equivalent products must be supported by specifications and documentation establishing functional and technical equivalence. The library requires vendor installation of the wireless access points, including associated configuration, travel, shipping, and other applicable costs. Switch installation is not requested. Equipment must be new; used, open-box, refurbished, or otherwise non-new equipment will be disqualified. Partial bids and generic or out-of-scope price lists will not be accepted. Pricing must be provided by SKU and library location in the supplied Excel pricing attachment, including E-Rate eligibility percentages and all applicable product and service costs. The resulting contract is scheduled for April 1, 2027, through September 30, 2028, with a discretionary one-year renewal.
