Description
The Charter Township of Chesterfield is soliciting bids for construction improvements at Brandenburg Park. The base work includes two pickleball courts with reinforced concrete pavement, acrylic court surfacing, court line painting, pickleball nets, relocated light standards, concrete curb ramps, parking rails, fencing, drainage and underdrain work, erosion controls, and related excavation and aggregate base work. The project also includes concrete sidewalk connections around existing playground areas and landscaping restoration, including engineered wood fiber removal and replacement, tree planting, seeding, lawn restoration, sign relocation, and associated site restoration. Playground improvements are identified as three additive alternates. Bidders must submit a 5% bid bond; the successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds and required insurance documentation. The work is unit-price based, and the project manual states 75 calendar days to substantial completion and 105 calendar days to readiness for final payment after the Contract Times commence.
