The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is soliciting proposals for one or more guided hunting packages to be awarded as prizes in its Big Time Texas Hunts drawing. Respondents may propose packages for guided big game and bird hunts, with the documented scope specifically including a Texas Premium Buck Hunt for one hunter and one guest. Each package must include full-time guide service, meals, lodging, and required on-site transportation, with proposed hunt location, available dates, number of days, and an all-inclusive price. The specified buck hunt requires a three- to five-day package with at least two full hunting days, three nights of lodging, and eight meals for each hunter. The hunt must provide a reasonable opportunity to harvest a wild-raised, mature, high-quality white-tailed buck scoring approximately 150–160+ gross Boone and Crockett, without guaranteeing a kill. The contractor must address applicable permits, provide post-hunt photographs and score documentation, and meet personnel, criminal-history-check, insurance, safety, and licensing requirements. Proposals must include the required exhibits and supporting information, including company and service details, guide profiles, past projects and references, key personnel, criminal-history authorizations, a checklist, and a Texas Identification Number application.
