Description
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission seeks a contractor to oversee and operate the Python Action Team Removing Invasive Constrictors (PATRIC) program and remove nonnative constrictors from Florida ecosystems. The scope includes managing 30 to 50 PATRIC members, verifying survey tracks and hours, administering biweekly compensation, conducting surveys, documenting captures and carcass handling, maintaining required training and background-check processes, and submitting monthly, annual, and final reports. The contractor must also develop or obtain a survey-tracking application during the initial 90 days and develop innovative technologies and techniques, potentially including an artificial-intelligence-enabled platform for statewide detection and field coordination. The response must address technical and functional requirements, cybersecurity and data-sharing requirements, relevant experience, methodology, project-report examples, licensing, references, subcontractors, and pricing. The initial contract term is five years, with a possible five-year renewal. The estimated project budget is $29,647,667, and funding limits apply by project period.
