Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service requires replacement of three ClimateMaster geothermal water-to-air heat pump units and associated system work at the Rainwater Basin Wetland Management District office. The scope includes geothermal loop-field services for nine wells, each with a 305-foot-deep loop using one-inch U-bend pipe, reconnection of hydronic, condensate, and electrical lines, reconnection of dehumidifiers and air scrubbers, installation of controllers, electronic expansion valves, soft starters, touchscreen thermostats, and ductwork and sheet-metal modifications. The contractor must flush and purge the loop field and perform commissioning and functional testing. Amendment 1 provides water-quality and geothermal-well information, clarifies that the new units must include the manufacturer’s warranty with at least a five-year compressor warranty, and requires at least a one-year labor/workmanship warranty. The acquisition is a Total Small Business set-aside for a single firm-fixed-price contract, with best-value evaluation based on price, technical factors, and relevant experience. The performance period is September 21, 2026, through December 30, 2026.
