Description
The City seeks an experienced executive search firm to support all stages of recruiting its next City Manager. Services include developing a recruitment schedule and candidate profile; planning outreach and advertising; screening applicants and preparing summaries; conducting reference and background checks; coordinating finalist interviews; advising on the offer, compensation, and relocation; maintaining records; and notifying applicants. The firm must also provide a one-year search warranty, under which it will conduct additional search and screening activities at no or reduced fee if the initial search is unsuccessful or the selected candidate leaves within one year of placement. Proposals must describe the firm's recruitment approach, timetable, relevant experience and personnel, and include five recent references from comparable communities, a not-to-exceed fee broken down by task, separately itemized travel costs, and an hourly rate for additional services. The fee proposal must be separately sealed for paper submissions or uploaded as a separate file for electronic submissions. Proposal content must be the responding firm's own work product and not generated by AI.
