Description
The City of Norwalk is seeking a contractor to upgrade the existing electric vehicle infrastructure at Norwalk City Hall. The contractor will furnish labor, materials, permits, inspections, trenching, backfill, conduit, wiring, grounding-system modifications, electrical-system modifications, shop drawings, utility coordination, and required landscaping repairs. The existing 200-amp, 120/208-volt, three-phase utility service will remain. The City will supply and install the dual 80-amp EV charger at a later date; charger installation is excluded from the contractor's scope. The work must comply with applicable electrical, building, fire, OSHA, and National Electrical Code requirements. The project must be completed within 30 calendar days after execution of the contract. Bidders must submit the City's forms, pricing, bid security, qualifications information, vendor questionnaire, and required insurance information. The solicitation requires both an electronic Bonfire submission by October 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time and a matching sealed hard-copy bid by October 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
