Description
The U.S. Air Force is conducting a Sources Sought/RFI for a potential five-year contract supporting Special Operations Forces C-130J aircraft, including AC-130J, MC-130J, and HC-130J platforms. The requirement includes development and revision of flight, maintenance, and commodity technical manuals; technical writing; engineering data compilation; configuration management; technical-order and drawing updates; and related quality and program-management support. The contractor would also provide AC-130J provisioning support, including identification and recommendation of spare, repairable, and consumable parts; development of Logistics Product Data and Engineering Data for Provisioning compatible with the Government's D220 system; Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability code recommendations; and participation in provisioning and configuration-guidance conferences. The contemplated contract consists of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The RFI requests capability, experience, facility, quality, security, commerciality, engineering, technical-manual, and provisioning information; it is for market research only and does not constitute a request for proposals or guarantee a future award.
