Description
The City of Boise is soliciting a contractor for construction of new sidewalk-buffer landscaping along State Street and North 36th Street, including portions of Veterans Memorial Parkway. Work includes mobilization, demolition and disposal of existing rock mulch, landscape fabric, and other items; minor grading and earthwork; erosion and traffic control; irrigation-system installation; planting trees and shrubs; installation of gravel, decorative boulders, soil, and related landscape elements; site cleanup; and restoration of affected areas. The contractor must obtain required permits, coordinate traffic and pedestrian control, protect existing trees and utilities, provide required inspections and submittals, and maintain at least 30% self-performance of the original contract amount. The contract provides 120 calendar days, including 28 weather days, with anticipated execution on November 27, 2026 and completion required by March 26, 2027. A one-year bid-period irrigation warranty and plant-material guarantee requirements are specified, including a two-year guarantee for trees and shrubs.
