Description
The City of Thornton is soliciting proposals from qualified service providers to perform pavement marking services on an on-call, as-needed basis under an open-ended General Service Agreement. Work may include painted, thermoplastic, and preformed tape pavement markings; pavement marking removals; grooving for recessed markings; curb and parking lot markings; traffic control; cleanup; and furnishing all required labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision. Services may support arterial, collector, and residential streets, curbs, and parking lots, and may include routine, scheduled, non-scheduled, urgent, and emergency work. The agreement is expected to run from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2032, with no guaranteed minimum work and the possibility of multiple awards. The addendum clarifies that proposers may price only the bid items they can perform; thermoplastic work may combine extruded and preformed materials, with specified minimum thicknesses; traffic control is required; no bid bond is required; and no weekend work is currently anticipated. Proposers must acknowledge the addendum in their proposals.
