Description
Clinch County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids for resurfacing improvements to 4.71 miles of Homerville Bypass. The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the project, in accordance with applicable Georgia Department of Transportation specifications, supplemental specifications, special provisions, and construction standards. Bidders must obtain the bid package from Statewide Engineering, Inc. to be considered certified. The contractor must be a current prequalified contractor with the Georgia Department of Transportation, Office of Contract Administration, or obtain written approval from the Clinch County Board of Commissioners before bid opening. A copy of the contractor qualification notice or approval letter must be submitted with the bid. The selected contractor must complete the work within 120 consecutive calendar days after work begins. A bid bond of at least 5% of the lump-sum bid is required, along with performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the contract amount if awarded.
