Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for a potential five-year contract covering annual inspection, maintenance, repair, certification, and fuel oil filtering services for 16 aboveground storage tanks. Work includes API 653-compliant inspections and tank integrity testing; fuel filtration, recirculation, treatment, and third-party laboratory testing; and handling and disposal of fuel, water, and filtration waste. The contractor would provide inspection and laboratory reports, deficiency documentation, and safety data sheets. Repairs outside the base scope would require separate written authorization. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research, not a solicitation or an offer to award a contract. Responses should include company and capability information, relevant certifications and permits, self-performance or subcontracting plans, up to three similar past-performance examples from the last five years, and general pricing information. A total SDVOSB set-aside is currently anticipated for any resulting procurement, but the Government may choose a different acquisition approach.
