Description
The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities seeks on-call industrial painting services. Work includes removing existing paint or wall coverings; washing and disinfecting surfaces; mudding, taping, and sanding drywall; applying primer and at least two coats of paint; and supplying the necessary labor, equipment, tools, and materials. The contractor must protect furnishings and fixtures, contain and clean up dust and paint, remove its debris, and meet applicable licensing and permitting requirements. The contractor will coordinate assignments and address deficiencies with the BPU Facilities Manager. Proposals must use the provided forms and include pricing and schedule information, experience and references, subcontractor details, safety and financial information, and a current sample certificate of insurance. Performance and statutory bonds are required after award, not with the proposal.
