Description
This solicitation is for non-personal services for the Barlow Ranger District at Mt. Hood National Forest. The project involves piling and spreading existing downed trees along the Historic Barlow Road. This service requires the mandatory rearrangement and/or piling of fuel loading on approximately 80 acres by scattering large diameter (18 inches at butt end) downed materials and piling existing slash material (between 8 inches and 17.9 inches butt end). Piling will be performed using a "lift and pile" mechanism rather than a "push and pile" mechanism.
