Description
Federal Prison Industries, Inc., operating as UNICOR within the Department of Justice, is soliciting offers for safety eyewear kits and related protective equipment. The requirement includes multiple line items for safety glasses, industrial goggles, replacement lenses, and an industrial faceshield, with estimated quantities totaling more than 170,000 units over the life of the contract. Products must comply with ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2025 and specified design, lens, ventilation, impact-protection, UV-protection, and color requirements. Certificates of Conformance are required with shipments, and products must be packaged and marked for safe delivery. The solicitation contemplates a five-year, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with economic price adjustments every 12 months and possible multiple awards by line item. The guaranteed minimum is $10,000, and funding will be obligated through individual delivery orders. Offerors must provide pricing for every Section B item, submit required samples unless exempt based on qualifying prior supply history, and demonstrate past performance delivering similar products. Initial delivery is required within 60 days after receipt of a delivery order, with subsequent deliveries within 30 days.
