Description
The Toronto Transit Commission requires the non-exclusive supply, fitting, delivery, and related services for prescription safety eyewear for its employees. The scope includes CSA-compliant safety frames with integrated side shields, prescription lenses supporting single-vision, bifocal, trifocal, prism, and progressive prescriptions, multiple lens colours and coatings, polarized and photochromic options, and universal clip-on lenses. Products must meet applicable Canadian safety standards, including CSA Z94.3:20 or the latest edition, and specified ultraviolet-transmittance requirements. The supplier must provide retail fitting and delivery services, at least four retail locations meeting specified Toronto and Greater Toronto Area requirements, and onsite fitting and delivery services at TTC locations. Bidders must complete the mandatory requirements form, retail-location form, company-reference form, bid form, price schedules, and Ontario health and safety declaration. The contract term is three years, with two optional one-year renewal periods.
